Meet Alan Schwartz: Your Guide to the Next Level
Here's something most coaches won't tell you: I've been coaching athletes for over 30 years across 7 different sports—pickleball, racquetball, padel, baseball, softball, soccer, and endurance conditioning.
That's three decades of helping people just like you break through plateaus, master new skills, and discover what they're truly capable of.
But here's what gets me most excited:
I truly get great pleasure helping others improve. Whether you're taking your first swing or competing in tournaments, watching that "a-ha" moment happen—when everything suddenly clicks—that's what fills my cup.
And after 30 years, I've learned exactly how to create those breakthrough moments for players at every level.
I've been playing pickleball for over 4 years now and coaching for 3.5 years. I compete regularly at the 4.0-4.5 level and hold the mixed doubles championship title at my country club with my wife.
But what really sets me apart isn't just my pickleball credentials—it's the unique perspective I bring from decades of coaching multiple racquet sports and athletics.
Here's what makes my approach different:
My multi-sport background gives me a unique perspective. I see patterns other coaches miss. I understand movement mechanics from decades of teaching athletes. And I know how to translate strategies from racquetball and padel directly into your pickleball game.
My coaching philosophy is simple:
I get great pleasure helping others. Whether you're a complete beginner taking your first swing, an intermediate player hungry to learn advanced concepts, or an advanced competitor looking for detailed strategies and mindset training—I meet you exactly where you are.
My credentials:
-PCI Certified Pickleball Coach
-30+ years of overall coaching experience across 7 sports
-Compete regularly at 4.0-4.5 level
-Specialize in mindset training for players
-Expert in translating racquetball/padel strategies to pickleball
Whether you want to improve your fitness, develop your skills, compete in tournaments, improve your DUPR, or simply have more fun on the court—I'll help you play with confidence and consistency while preventing injuries.
Players who train with me experience complete game transformations. They win through intelligent positioning and shot selection, not exhausting power. They understand the mental game. They play multiple times a week with energy. They build lasting friendships while leveling up their game.

Dan L. - 5 Stars
"The lesson with Alan was quite helpful, especially in understanding how to improve my placement on the court. Though I still need to work on consistency, I’m optimistic that with more practice I’ll get there. The lesson really highlighted some subtle paddle control techniques that I hadn't thought much about before. Still, I think it’d be good to maybe have another session soon to build on what I learned. Alan’s teaching style is pretty straightforward but effective, and I’d be open to trying another lesson down the line."
Lori B. - 5 Stars
"Alan is a joy to work with. I feel comfortable working with him. Patient, easy to follow instructions. He keeps the lessons fun, making it easy to stay engaged and very productive. I'm a work in progress, and he's a fabulous instructor"
Tyler K. - 5 Stars
"The lesson focused on strategy, footwork, and developing my serve, which I found quite helpful. Alan’s approach makes it easy to stay engaged without feeling overwhelmed, and I appreciate the focus on court positioning. Though I still need to work more on what we went over initially, I look forward to building on those skills. Still, I’d suggest trying Alan if you're interested in thoughtful, practical pickleball guidance."
You know that moment when you replay the match in your head...
...thinking about all the shots you should have made?
...watching players you know you should beat walk away with the win?
...feeling that gap between the player you are and the player you know you could be?
That ends on December 14th.
Because by the time you walk off the court, something fundamental will have changed. Your body will respond differently. Your mind will read the game differently. And the next time you play, your regular partners will immediately notice something has shifted.
You walk onto your local court for your regular morning game.
As soon as you start warming up, your playing partners stop and stare.
"What happened to you?"
Your serves are landing deep and consistent—no more shanks, no more pop-ups. When they return, you're already reading where the ball is going. Your third shot drop is pulling them out of position. At the kitchen line, you're controlling rallies with patience and precision they've never seen from you before.
By the third game, they're asking what you did. By the fifth game, they're asking where you learned it. By the time you leave, they're asking if you can teach them.
That's the difference between who you are right now and who you'll be after the camp.
And it all starts the moment you register—because the transformation begins before you even arrive.
You'll Dominate Points Without Exhausting Yourself
I will teach you how to control rallies through intelligent positioning and shot selection—not power. You'll start winning more points while using less energy.
Soon after camp, your opponents will work twice as hard for half the results. While they're gasping for air, you'll be fresh and ready for the next point.
This is especially important for us 50+ players: You'll learn to play smarter, not harder, which means you can play multiple times a week without wearing yourself out or risking injury.
You'll Meet Your New Playing Crew (And Stay Connected For Life)
I will connect you with 15-20 other passionate 50+ players at your exact skill level. You'll exchange numbers, join the Obsessed Pickleballers Community together, and have permanent contact with everyone you meet.
Nobody gets left behind. Whether you're naturally social or more reserved, local or visiting, you'll be welcomed and connected with the entire group through the community platform.
Then, after camp, the group chat starts buzzing with game invitations and practice sessions. By next month, you'll have a regular crew of players who understand your goals, your schedule, and your commitment to improvement. No more showing up alone, hoping to find a good match.
You'll Know Exactly What To Do In Every Situation
I will eliminate the hesitation that's been costing you points. Should you drive or drop? Your body knows. When do you move to the kitchen? You're already moving. How do you handle the lob? You're executing before you finish thinking about it.
Then, when you're playing matches next week, your opponents will watch you differently. They'll see someone who plays with confidence and certainty—someone who's always one step ahead.
You'll Stop Making The Same Mistakes That Have Been Holding You Back
I will help you identify the 2-3 technical flaws that are currently holding you back. When I show you exactly how to fix them, the shots that used to frustrate you suddenly become your strengths.
Most players spend years fighting the same weaknesses. You'll correct yours in a single morning.
The forehand that used to sail long?
Landing deep with topspin. The backhand you used to avoid? Now your go-to shot. The serves that made you nervous?
Setting up points in your favor.
You'll Reignite The Passion You Had When You First Discovered This Game
It will show you how good you can actually be. You'll leave buzzing with excitement, already planning your next practice session.
Remember when you first fell in love with pickleball? When you couldn't wait to play? If that feeling has been fading lately…
On December 14th, it comes roaring back.
Because when you experience what it feels like to play at your true potential, when you finally break through that plateau—that's when the obsession returns.
